This integration will connect your Auth0 account with WhosOffice for single sign on. Use these instructions to link your Auth0 tenant to your WhosOffice accounts in order to authenticate using Auth0.

Prerequisites
Before you begin:
- You need to have an existing account with an Administrator role on WhosOffice to complete these steps.
- You need to set up a Connection, which is a source of users. Connections can be databases, social identity providers, or enterprise identity providers, and can be shared among different applications. You may set up more than one connection for use with SSO integrations.
Identify your sub-domain from WhosOffice
- Login to your WhosOffice account
- From the Settings menu, go to Company
- Make a note of your sub-domain on this page, it will be in bold as shown below.
Add this integration
- Scroll to the top of this page and select Add Integration on the right.
- Login, if prompted, then select a tenant.
- Read the consent prompt that appears, then select Continue.
Configure Auth0 SSO Integration
- Enter a name for your SSO Integration, configure the following settings, and select Save.
- Replace
{sub-domain}
with your sub-domain retrieved above in both the Audience and Callback URL fields. - Select Save.
- Select the Tutorial tab, then select Download next to "Identity Provider Metadata." This will download the metadata file to your computer.
Configure integration with WhosOffice
To configure the integration with WhosOffice, follow the steps below with the data shown in the Tutorial view (which will appear when you save the initial configuration settings).
In your WhosOffice account Settings menu, select Company.
Select the Single Sign On tab
Select Auth0 from the provider drop down and select Activate Login Provider.
Using the form, browse to the SAML metadata file you downloaded in step 4 and select Upload.
Select Save Changes
Note: If you would like to force users to Authenticate through Auth0 (for online logins only), make sure “Force SAML” is selected, then select Save Changes.
Enable Connections
Choose the connections to use with your SSO integration. Users in enabled connections will be allowed to log in to WhosOffice. By default, all configured connections are enabled.
- Select the Connections view
- Toggle the sliders next to connection names to enable or disable them.
Test this integration
Ensure that you are logged out of your WhosOffice account
Navigate to
https://{sub-domain}.my.whosoffice.com
using your company sub-domain.- If you chose Force SAML during configuration, you will be automatically redirected to the Auth0 sign-in page.
- If you did NOT choose Force SAML, you will see the WhosOffice login screen with an option to login through Auth0.
After you have authenticated your login with Auth0 you will be redirected to your WhosOffice account.
