<p>Setting up an SSO SAML integration with Shutterstock is straightforward. Contact the ​Shutterstock premier integrations group​ at <a href="mailto:premierintegrations@shutterstock.com">premierintegrations@shutterstock.com</a> and provide them with the following information:</p>

<p>You will need to provide Shutterstock the SAML metadata file for your newly configured Application. Contact the ​Shutterstock premier integrations group​ at <a href="mailto:premierintegrations@shutterstock.com">premierintegrations@shutterstock.com</a> again and provide them with the URL in the <strong>Identity Provider Metadata</strong> field from above.</p>


<h2 id="finalization">Finalization</h2>
<p>We will complete setup on our end with the configuration information you have given us and confirm with you when this is complete.</p>
<p>Because Shutterstock supports on-demand account provisioning, your users do not have to have a pre-existing Shutterstock account in order to use our single sign on with SAML functionality. We will create an account for your users if they do not already have one.</p>
<h3 id="required-saml-assertion-attributes">Required SAML Assertion Attributes</h3>
<p>In order to perform account provisioning and to ensure your users can sign in successfully, you will need to configure your Auth0 Application to pass us the following attributes as part of their SAML assertion:</p>

<li>  <code>id</code>​ - a system unique identifier for the authenticating user</li>
<li>  <code>name​</code> - a string representing the authenticating user&#39;s full formatted name: ​<code>{First} {Last}​</code></li>

<h2 id="technical-notes">Technical Notes</h2>
<p>Shutterstock&#39;s SAML offering is SAML 2.0 compliant and features on-demand account provisioning and assignment.</p>
<h3 id="relaystate">RelayState</h3>
<p>You have the option of specifying a relay state as part of the SAML configuration process. If you set the relay state, we will honor it and redirect authenticated users to the specified value after a successful authentication.</p>
<h3 id="provisioning-for-pre-existing-users">Provisioning for pre-existing users</h3>
<p>Shutterstock allows existing users to be associated with a third party identity management system. We use the ​email​specified in the required attributes of the SAML assertion in order to link an authenticating user to their existing Shutterstock account.</p>
